Engineering Inspection Services
MESL can provide statutory inspections under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) 2000 to industry ensuring continued compliance with current legislation. During examination we conduct suitable Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998 inspections.
Our surveying staff are registered with the Engineering Council and Members of the Society of Opersations Engineers and Bureau of Engineer Surveyors.
Our surveying staff are multi trained to enabe them to minimise any inconvenience to the client by providing both LOLER and PSSR inspections during one visit. MESL endeavour to minimise our clients equipment downtime by ensuring:
- Our staff are trained to strip down and reassemble items under examination and return the equipment to service.
- By providing out of hours and weekend inspection services.

Additional services / facilities
- The Ladder Association trained – Ladder and Steps Inspector / User. This provides the ability to inspect and issue inspection reports for clients.
- Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ & Manufacturers’ Association Ltd (PASMA) Combined training course. This enables our staff to gain access to equipment at height in a safe manner to ensure thorough examinations are conducted.
